For the ultimate family or group activity, sign up for one of our XL Group Adventures. Climb aboard one of our two giant XL boards (up to 8 people per board) or a Dragon board (up to 4 people) and paddle down the stunning river Avon in the heart of South Hams or paddle out from Kingsbridge or Salcombe for an epic adventure. We provide only the best and equipment including Red Paddle XL and Dragon boards, leashes, paddles and buoyancy aids.
You’ll be guided by Simon and Mandy who are highly experienced British Stand Up Paddleboard Association (BSUPA) Instructors. You’ll receive a safety briefing and basic instructions on how to paddle the boards before you set off for a truly memorable adventure. On the way, you’ll play games, compete in races and generally have fun on the water. We’ll find a secluded beach where you’ll enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks, take a splash and soak up the views in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
We can take groups up to 20 people and the minimum age to join in this activity is 6 years old. Please note, anyone aged under 18 requires an adult parent or guardian to be on the water with them.
Avon River XL Adventure
Join friends and family for an epic guided adventure down the stunning river Avon. Imagine gently paddling down this enchanting river past fields of emerald green samphire, oyster beds and golden mud flats teaming with wild birds and rare fauna. Stop at a secluded creek for a complimentary Devon Cream Tea or snacks and refreshments for the kids. Go for a splash in crystal clear waters and take in the majestic beauty of this outstanding river eco system before paddling back up the river to Aveton Gifford.

Kingsbridge Estuary XL Adventure
Hop aboard one of our XL boards for an epic adventures down the Kingsbridge Estuary and into one of the many creeks. Build an XL raft, work as a team and try not to fall in as you paddle this stunning stretch of water. Stop at a secluded creek for a complimentary Devon Cream Tea or snacks and refreshments for the kids. Go for a splash in crystal clear waters before paddling back to the Kingsbridge slipway.

Salcombe Estuary XL Adventure
Climb aboard our XL boards for the ultimate day out in Salcombe. Launching from Batson Quay or North Sands, you and your family and friends can paddle this iconic waterway, playing games, completing fun challenges and soaking up the holiday atmosphere. You’ll stop at some of the stunning golden sand beaches for a splash and complimentary refreshments all under the eye of our professional guides and instructors.
